GALILEO
"An award-winning initiative of the University System of Georgia initially funded by Governor Miller and the General Assembly in 1995, with continuing funding from Governor Barnes and the General Assembly for the Citizens of Georgia."
Galileo may be accessed from school or home.  If accessed from home, a password is needed that can be obtained from the media specialist. Galileo has three interfaces for students: elementary, teen, and high school.

 GPB United Streaming Video Streaming
Educators have access to high-quality collections of streaming clips and full length educational videos, clip art, an assignment builder, calendar, Discovery Atlas Interactive Map, Discovery Educator Network, the lesson plan library, Quiz Builder, and searchable writing prompts.  Using Georgia Public Broadcastings link into United Streaming Videos offers users the chance to search for materials based on subject area, keywords, and grade level.  All of these resources come free of charge to Georgia educators.  To ensure that these resources remain free of charge, it is important that users register for their own accounts using the school code and enter the resources through the GPB website link.  Gaining access through GBP’s website tracks the usage of the resource.

 GEORGIA LEARNING CONNECTIONS
The central focus of GLC is the Quality Core Curriculum (QCC/GPS) standards. You will find Web links, lesson plans, activities, and assessment correlations attached directly to the standards. These resources have been gathered and created to help teachers teach and assess the standards. Also look at the Teacher Resource Center, a large collections of education and curriculum resources that are not attached to specific standards. The Lesson Plan Builder is a tool for Georgia teachers to build and share best practice lesson plans that directly impact student learning and achievement. And Georgia Education Initiatives are collaborations between the Department of Education and educational programs in Georgia to provide a variety of quality instructional materials to educators.

Give students and teachers access to educator-reviewed and rated web-resources by using Nettrekker’s search engines.  Netterkker access is available at school and home using a username and password. Students will have access to grade appropriate resources, such as images, read aloud text, and interactive games. Nettrekker is a paid service courtesy of the Liberty County School System.
