We have many phone calls each day
informing our staff that a child needs be transported home in a
manner other than the normal method of transportation. We no
longer accept these requests over the phone. We must have a
signed letter from the custodial parent or guardian before a
child may go home by any method other than the normal procedure.
These notes should be sent by your child and given to the
teacher first thing in the morning. If a note is not sent to
school, either a signed authorization form must be brought to
the school, or the child will have to be physically signed out
by the parent or guardian. In extreme emergencies, you will need
to talk with a school administrator.
