We want to make sure that a child is never released to anyone who is not a custodial parent or guardian, or to anyone who has not been granted permission to check a child out of school by either the parent or guardian. In order to help accomplish this goal we will now require a picture ID from anyone, including parents, before a child is released. We will check this against the information we have on file to be sure the individual requesting the child does indeed have authorization to pick him/her up.
