Our Mission:
To provide the highest quality educational experiences for students with exceptional needs between ages three and twenty-one in the Liberty County School System.

Eligibility:
A Liberty County resident at 3 years of age with a diagnosed disability (IDEA regulations) is eligible to be served by the Liberty County School System. On the day the student turns 22 years old, the services provided will terminate.

S.B.10 SPECIAL EDUCATION/NEEDS SCHOLARSHIP - LOCAL DEADLINE DATES
Parents who intend to take advantage of the Special Education/Needs Scholarship (S.B.10), for the transfer within district, must complete an application through the Division for Exceptional Learning (DEL) office located at the Liberty County Board of Education, 200 Bradwell St, Hinesville, GA. The deadline for accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school year is July 29, 2011.
