Our Mission:
To provide the highest quality educational experiences for students with exceptional
needs between ages three and twenty-one in the Liberty County School System.
Eligibility:
A Liberty County resident at 3 years of age with a diagnosed disability (IDEA
regulations) is eligible to be served by the Liberty County School System.
On the day the student turns 22 years old, the services provided will terminate.

LOCAL DEADLINE INFORMATION
Parents/Guardians who intend to take advantage of the Special Education-Special Needs Scholarship
Program for transfer within district, must complete an application through the Division for Exceptional
Learning (DEL) office located at the Liberty County Board of Education, 200 Bradwell Street, Hinesville, GA.
The deadline for accepting within district
transfer request applications for the 2012-2013 school year is July 30, 2012.
