Alma Mater

Bradwell, we will always love thee,
Always true we'll be.
And there'll never be another
Like B.I. to me.

Alma Mater, thee we honor:
You are dear and old
And your name we'll ever cherish,
Hail the blue and gold!

Our Vision
. . .

is that Bradwell Institute will be a safe, friendly, learning environment where students not only succeed academically but also learn to appreciate differences within their school community, develop a strong sense of personal and school pride, and graduate prepared for success in life.

Our Mission is to . . .

  • teach more than just the standard by relating daily lessons to everyday life and to and to the world beyond our community;

  • build the capacity of individual students to think ‘outside of the box,’

  • engage in continual learning as educators so that we are able to help our students maximize their capabilities;

  • reach every student in such a way that he or she will develop a stronger character because of being in our school;

  • reach students by showing them our enthusiasm for our profession;

  • make every individual feel comfortable enough to come to us for help or  encouraging words;

  • provide opportunities for all students to learn, and recognize students when they are able to fully understand concepts;

  • provide a loving & supportive environment in which students can work together and learn from one another as they experience and celebrate successes together;

  • create a learning environment where students want to be, because they know we care about them and their education and their future.

Learning is first . . . Together we will.

We Believe

1. All students can learn.

2. Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of  instructional approaches to support their learning.

3. All school improvement goals and strategies, curriculum decisions, and instructional strategies and learning activities should be data-driven and based   on best practices.

 4. Professional learning communities will provide a school-wide system of  interventions that provides all students with additional time and support when they experience difficulty in their learning.

 5. Education includes the development of citizenship, personal responsibility, and respect for self and others.

 6. Every student should be provided with a safe learning environment.

7. The commitment to continuous improvement is necessary to produce students  who are life-long learners.
